Each week I will post my best picks. I will rate them by stars . First you have to decide what kind of better you are a $20.00 better or $100.00 or $1000.00 dollar better. ( Example) A person who is a $100.00 dollar better would bet $100.00 dollars on a one  star pick and $500.00 on a  pick. For a $20.00 dollar better the same applies one star $20 dollars 5 stars $100 dollars. When you make a bet don't forget the juice. You have to put up $110.00 to win $100.00, $550.00 for $500.00 and $22.00 for $20.00. (Example) If you make a wager of $110.00 on a game and win, you will get back $210.00. Now that we have the amounts right lets work on how to bet. 

You can bet on-line with a betting service,(if it is legal in your area) casino or local bookie, it's your choice. I would recommend you choose the casino since betting with a bookie or in some cases an on-line service is illegal and  I don't want to get blamed for you breaking the law !! The first rule of thumb is "only make flat bets" never play 2 team or more parlays, these are sucker bets. That's why they pay more. Second rule of thumb is "Don't get greedy"  If you start out on a $100.00 plan stay with it. Don't jump up to $1000.00 just because you win a couple of games. Third rule of thumb is " You can't bet every game on the sheet" It is much smarter to bet all your money on one game,  that really looks good as opposed to betting on 5 games. Forth rule of thumb is "Bet with your money not with your heart" My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers but I have won as much money betting against them as I have betting with them. Fifth and final rule of thumb is "Watch the betting line" The point spread comes out of Vegas but it changes all the time and  varies from service to service. I will post the line that I have each week next to my picks. If you can't get that line with your service, casino or bookie then don't bet the game. 

If you can pick up an extra couple of dollars on the weekend while you are watching your favorite sport, it's better then getting a second job.
